Projects

Welcome to my portfolio of projects that I've done and organizations that I've been a part of over the past few years. All of the projects and organizations listed below are technical projects related to my field of study.

Ready to go for a ride?

August 2020 - Present

LifeSmart

The aim is to build a desktop application that serves as a health log that tracks aspects of diet, fitness, and other health related measures. The software requires the user to input their health and personal information into the application which will be stored locally due to privacy concerns. The application will return a curated dietary and fitness plan. Users also have the functionality to create custom plans to fit their needs. The tools used for this project were Java and JavaFX.

May 2020 - August 2020

Supply Chain Externship

Front end engineer for an externship led by Dr. Younghee Park and Venkat Pullela. The aim was to build an app that helps automate the supply chain for an Organic Agricultural Startup. We worked with the company to reduce inefficiencies and maximize yield. The tools used for this project were Python, Javascript, HTML, and CSS.

September 2018 - June 2020

Spartan Hyperloop

I am a Controls and Communications Engineer for on-campus organization dedicated to designing and building a hyperloop pod for submission in an annual, international SpaceX student competition. Contributed in creating the master schematics for the pod navigation mechanism through creating data flow diagrams. Helped with choosing the best MCU and sensors for the pod and helped with creating the software API for the pod navigation. I am currently helping build the off-pod laptop user interface which analyzes the data for the team instead of SpaceX. The tools used for this project were Java, Python, SQL, HTML, and CSS.

April 2020 - August 2020

My Website

Well you are currently looking and browsing through this project. I started this project to showcase my work and portfolio to the world and share my knowledge. I used HTML, CSS, and JS to achieve the end result being my website.

January 2020 - May 2020

Scheduling App

Worked on a scheduling app with a group that was assigned to me by my professor with a hard deadline. The goal was to create an application where scheduling an event or appointment could be done with ease and comfort. To create this app, we have decided to use Python to create the code for the app, HTML for the web framework, CSS for styling the app, JS for the animations, and SQL for databases.

October 2018 - December 2018

Autonomous Robot

The purpose of the project was to create an efficient robot using vex parts, solder an IR board, and code using Easy C to successfully turn off the red beacon and remove the green beacon from an arena in as little time as possible.

September 2018 - October 2018

Windmill Project

The key aspects of the projects were to design and fabricate the turbine rotor blades, design and fabricate the support tower, determine the power output of our wind turbine, and measure the stiffness of our support tower. The goals that we attempted to achieve in this lab were to design a rotor blade that produces the most lift, least drag, and most stable. Along with that we attempted to design a support tower that is light, produce a high power output, and produce a high stiffness. We used Solidworks to design the turbine rotor blades.

August 2018 - December 2018

Software Computer Engineering Club

This is an on-campus organization dedicated to creating an organization of students pursuing a degree in Software and Computer Engineering with similar interests. During my time in this organization, I was able to gain a lot of knowledge about the Software Engineering major and industry. This organization also helped me transition from high school to college by helping me in courses during my freshman year and helped me make friends within my major.
